Secure, client-side domain availability checks. No tracking. No history. No middlemen. No front-running. Just answers.
† Determining a domain's status (registered/unregistered) requires contacting the TLD (e.g., .com, .net, .ca) Registry's RDAP server. A DNS query can also be used but may show a false "available" status on parked domains. Registrant (Owner) information is typically found on the Registrar's (ie GoDaddy, Namecheap, Porkbun) RDAP server, and requires an additional query. Privacy first. The default Max Privacy option only contacts the Registry server, and you decide if additional info is returned by querying the Registrar's RDAP server or from Google's Public DNS service.

SaferWHOIS does not monitor, share, sell, steal, or taste your domain searches.

Searches are client-side between your browser and the RDAP server.

SaferWHOIS is now operating on the new ICANN mandated RDAP protocol, providing updated domain registration data access. Note that this mandate does not apply to all entities. Specifically, country code domain registries (ccTLDs) have the discretion to continue using the traditional port 43 WHOIS format, and many do not (yet) support RDAP.
